How many times have you gone to vote and realized that you support neither candidate? You're forced to choose between the Republican, who is too extreme, and the Democrat, who is too extreme. Maybe those picks led you not to vote at all.
This scenario occurs because candidates are chosen in Oklahoma's closed primary elections in which you weren't allowed to participate. Or, if you did participate, you are considered the minority in the party.
